Colours on the Xiamen look okay, but it is a bit soft and could use some sharpening, especially towards the back.
The 757 looks good to me.
I would advice to give some (careful) shadow lifting to your KC-46, It will improve things a bit.

Thanks,

Here's another crack at both of those, I just bumped the shadows slightly on the 46 and added a touch of sharpening to the Xiamen. Thanks!

Hey,

the Xiamen is still quite soft, especially towards the back (reg & titles). It needs quite a boost in sharpening.

The KC-46 looks okay to me & definitely better with the lifted shadows, though the overexposed background is a bit problematic, so be prepared for that.

Thanks JK, I'll delete the Xiamen for now and have another go later.

Not on my editing monitor, but the second one looks quite contrasty and I'd definitely ease that up.

They look overexposed to me. As Julien mentioned, they are also quite contrasty.

Thanks to you both for the feedback, I screwed up the turnoff shot edit pretty badly, usually I catch that before uploading here but I failed to see it. Anyways, here's new versions of both, with the exposure decreased slightly, and some contrast toned town. Thanks!

Man, that's some tough contrasty conditions. The new edits look better.

Thanks Kas! Yeah, definitely not the greatest weather, but it was pretty special witnessing and documenting a first flight. Do you think these would be acceptable or do I need to go further on the contrast?

Still pretty contrasty to eyes. I am sure it was quit thrilling to be witness to this special event--too bad the weather and lighting was not suitable for photography. These are times to put the camera down and remember what it's like to not see the world of aviation through the view finder of a camera!

Although better, they still look quite contrasty. I really don't know what to advise.

Alright, thanks guys. I'm not quite willing to give up on them just yet, here's another go. I still have a little bit of room adjustment wise if this isn't quite far enough. Thanks.

Takeoff: To me its kinda low contrast, and has a greenish cast.

Turnoff: I think it looks ok actually.

Obligatory not a screener so take what I say with a grain of salt remark.

I would give you a pass on the runway exit photo. For the takeoff photo, the aft fuselage still blends in with the sky and it doesn't seem fixable. Perhaps if you have another photo in the sequence where the trees can be seen behind it it would look better.
