Here's an opinion piece from the News Journal about the new service, which includes suggestion that, if things go well, they will expand.

Silver will be painting a plane in a special Daytona Tortugas paint scheme as part of their partnership.

I lucked into seeing DAB's Facebook post, to be honest. I think I saw it like 6 minutes after they posted it.

I agree with what was said in the big AA announcement thread- DL could one-up them by starting a daily flight on an E75 or CR9. Either way, big doings at DAB recently with Sunwing, Silver, and now AA launching or adding service.

Making some predictions for JAX in 2019, feel free to add your own.
1) JAX finally gets a west coast nonstop, my guess is UA SFO or DL LAX on an A220.
2) Nonstop to MSY, I'm thinking NK or WN
3) San Juan comes back on a low cost carrier.
