SYR-RDU-FAY, June 1993, help with flights

Sat Oct 13, 2018 2:32 am

This is a long shot but I'm trying to piece together information about some flights I took when I was younger. In 1993 we flew to my step sisters wedding in Fayetteville, NC from SYR. I remember the flights were from SYR to RDU and then on the FAY. I am 95% certain it was USAir and it's subsidiaries.

Trying to figure out what airlines and flights operated between the two city pairs. I've tried the website but the only info there is SYR to RDU on AA. I suppose it could have been AA but I really have USAir stuck in my head as the airline. The flight between RDU to FAY I remember was a turbo prop. I remember being terrified to be on that plane. I was 13 at the time and had only been in non turbo prop jets.

My question is. Does anyone have any guidance on what flights between those two city pairs. I think I can piece together more info once I have a clearer idea.

What airlines flew (and flight numbers & departures) beten those two city pairs?
As of Dec 2019 I've flown 457,440 miles on 270 flights on 54 airplane types with 60 airlines traveling thru 104 airports. I've visited 60 countries.

You were likely on AA via RDU connecting to an AA Eagle Metroliner on to FAY as AA did fly RDU as a hub city in 1993.
US did not fly nonstop between SYR and RDU and would have connected you thru CLT not RDU.
You might look at "" as well, and while I found a 1992 US timetable I could not find a timetable for AA near 1993.
watch what you want. you may get it.
