Strange rejection

Tue Feb 12, 2019 7:12 am

Hello
Today I was this rejection: "distance". Photo id 5391851
In the email the screener wrote: "I'm sorry that this was not mentioned before".
What does this mean? Previously of what? In addition, the photo does not suffer at all from "distance".
I write this because in these days many rejections both mine and other components of my group spotter were strange, as CCW rotation - "level the Sea".

I agree the crop is alright. The image was rejected before, during which distance was not a problem. We usually write "sorry it wasn't mentioned before" if we see a flaw that was not mentioned in an earlier rejection.

This is not a strange message, it simply means that the photo needs CCW rotation and that it will be level once you make the horizon of the sea level.

ok. the second part of the answer is clear to me. The first, however, is totally incomprehensible to me. But this can depend on my bad English.

- Your KLM photo was rejected before, but not for distance.
- Your KLM photo was again rejected, this time for distance.
- This means a rejection for a reason that was not mentioned earlier.
- The screener apologized for the fact that he had to reject for a reason that was not mentioned before.
- I don't agree that the subject is too distant.
- The photo has already been accepted on appeal (by another HS).

Ok. The fact remains that there are too many rejected appealed and then received. Only in our group, between yesterday and today, three rejected rubbish then accepted.
