And it do not happen today since the crash of ET302. Hope the 777X does not delay longer.

What's with his logo on the aircraft when it isn't his shot and how come he's the only person publishing photos?

Looks like it's just a 'cleverly' placed watermark.

He mentions as much in the comments section. ..

Still odd that he'd place it on a photo that isn't his....

It's pretty but doesn't look bigger than a 77W. I think we need a -10 variant.

I still think they should have grafted the 787 nose/cockpit windows onto it and then given it a "racoon" mask for good measure.

Does the exit layout not bother anyone else? Only 4 instead of 5 like the -300, and the 3L/R exits are far back from the wing compared to the 2L/R ones! Maybe it's just my OCD!!

The 777-9 has a lower exit limit (475) than the 777-300/ER (550).

You can't see the exits 3L/R in most of the pictures.
In fact, it's still 5 exits per side in total, just arranged differently.
Exits 4L/R are optional.
You can see the top of exit 3L on this picture:

Great looking aircraft, but wow...photoshopping your watermark onto a livery is pretty cheesy. Take credit for your work, but...ugh.

Interesting change in appearance. The 777 has always been a very geometric-looking airplane full of straight edges and circles. The new wing and nacelle give the whole airplane a bit more of an organic look, adding a bit of 787 flavor. (Although section 41 still looks like the head of a football player with no neck.)

Airbus had to add an overwing exit for the A340-600 because the distance between exits was too large (up to 74 ft / 22 m). Apparently, the limit is 60 ft / 18 m. Does anybody know how far apart the exits 3 & 5 are? Probably right at the limit. Will there be an evacuation test or can that be grandfathered?

I can see the difference in the photo. It’s a long mo-fo. Will be nice Airplane.

But yes it would be interesting to see it parked next to a -300ER.

Wow,what a beauty! The 777 always looks right..76.7 metres long. Man that.s one hell of a big machine..40 cm longer than the 747-8...It doesn.t look so in the picture..And those engines..Now you can actually see how massive they are.Love to see it parked next to a 300ER and the 747-8.And of course love to see it lift off for the first time.

Sort of a good day for Boeing after last days drama. 20 787-9 to Lufthansa, the first pics of this beauty. They still biild good airplanes. All this a small band aid on a big wound.
