It repositioned to ARN. But in first attempt, it was not allowed in German aerospace and needed to stay for two weeks in XCR.

LOT moved its Maxes to LUB.

Icelandair is starting to ferry their 737MAX to Spain today. TF-ICN and TF-ICO are taking off from KEF right now. According to media they will be going to Lleida in Catalonia, Spain but FR24 is showing Shannon as their destination.

And looking at the direction they are heading right now it appears the French have flat out refused to have them in their airspace, or at least above land. Despite the original plan to fly to Toulouse.

I was going to mention I found 3 AC B73M in YUL last night. I guess they will be gone now.

There’s an AA Max getting ready to ferry from BFI to MWH (Moses Lake).

In June I flew through Kelowna and there was a bunch stored there. Not sure if they’re still there or not.

I understand that LO wanted to take them from WAW - cheaper and not taking WAW space. But knowing where this whole thing is going they should send them somewhere nice and sunny for winter - like Spain. Lublin is not a nice winter destination.

Getting a plane of a grounded type from Poland to Spain is pretty challenging in terms of overflight rights. For example, if France denies the permit, you're suddenly adding a lot of cost to get it there. It's not as simple as just picking a sunny place and flying the thing there.

One Icelandair MAX on the way from SNN to ILD. They go to Spain and not France, as they did not get the needed permissions. The flight seems to be done at 19,000 feet.
