B6 is presently operating out of Gates 16; 16A; 17; and 18 (18 is a CUTE gate, but B6 uses it WestJet used to use it in the summer) Gate 17 is a widebody capable gate, so AC uses it for the YVR daily.
AC is using Gates 11; 12; 14 & 15. (14 & 15 were WN's gates, now AC uses them from time to time) 14 thru 17 used to be UA's gates till the merger and satellite swap with B6.
No one is using Gate 10 right now. WN used to operate it, but I don't think that no one else will use it.
There is no Gate 13 at EWR

My source is me - I am in a position to know what the inner workings of the terminal are.

In order to answer some other questions on "where they could fit in terminal B" - there is a group of counters at the end where DL used to have their international operation. Those have remained empty since the last CDG flight DL operated. As for the gates, NK is currently using gates on the B1 & B2 satelite. The gate on B1 is one of the gates PANYNJ has taken back. However, they are not using all of the available gates that DL has given up. That is what F9 using.

That's what AC uses every day for the YVR turn. The rest of the time, it's a B6 gate (also the gate of departure for UA93 on 9/11/01).

Just arrived at EWR via B6. A1 setup:

AC: 14 and 15 with 17 for the Vancouver 787
B6: 16, 16A, 17, 18.

10, 11, 12 are vacant gates. Can post pictures to prove it when I am home.

They are indeed vacant, and I believe even the seating has been stripped out (can't remember, been a long week). I wonder if those concrete construction barriers behind those gates preclude aircraft from getting in and out of the back corner there.

That’s interesting to say the least, I guess B6 and AC are now sharing gate 15 because I’ve been monitoring their flights going there. But thank you for your insight!

10;11; and 12 are now vacant. The Blast fence at Gate 10 now has a barriers (along with the snow plow equipment) and "No Parking" signs at the blast fence. There was GSE parked there, but it is now cleared out. There is more construction that is started in front of 11 & 12 and you cannot bring in any planes to those gates. A whole pile of UA and Menzies (who handles AC) equipment is on those gates now. That is why AC is now using 14 & 15. The construction can still proceed with AC & B6 there, but it that corner it is closer to the construction. The new terminal construction is proceeding well.

Also, I see a B6 320 in the alley between A2 and A3 (between from 27 / 30. I must have been seeing things this morning. Will B6 be using Gate 30 from AS? (although AS has quite a few 738/9 from 30 and 31.)

B6 will be operating out of 30 going forward due to an increase in the flight schedule.

10, 11, 12 still have some seating, not nearly as much as when WN was at 10 and AC in 11 and 12, but there is at least something there. No more workstations for the gate agent at any of those three gates. They've seen their final aircraft operations.

Had no idea B6 used A15 at all... can it be while AC has the 787 on the ground in 17 B6 gets use of 15?

B6 has aN A321 in gate A30. I know the gates they have on A1 can handle 321s

It appears gate 15 is typically used for the E190s from BOS. Now the times exactly, I’m not so sure.

Frontier is in B2; 55 and 57 are the gates they have been using. Frontier’s planes are serviced by Menzies at Newark.

They have used the Gate 30 and continues to use it now. I guess they are sharing it with B6.
AS just pushed off 739 off 30 as I’m writing this.

I've seen a B6 jet on one of the AC gates whilst the YVR 787 was on B6's gate. I assumed that was part of the arrangement.
