Pre-Screening for balz18

Tue Dec 03, 2019 5:30 pm

Afternoon All,

Tried to do my best with this one. Its a new paint/new title jet so it went the priority route. It got denied for it being too low in the frame which honestly I thought would be its downfall. I have plenty of space to recrop it, however I am trying to obviously avoid the fence as much as possible. The screener also included the personal message: "Too much dead space over the tower, 3:2 or 4:3 ratio gives better balance." That is very helpful I just fear the fence. Thoughts?

It could work with less space above the tower. I'm not on my screening monitor, but it appears that image is underexposed and over sharpened as well. Remember that if the fence occupies 1/3 or more of the space from the bottom of the frame, it will likely draw a motive rejection. Sharp looking (no pun intended) bird though!

Haha I will mess around with it and see what I can do! Darn fence. We were expecting the TAM red paint and this appeared surprised us all! I'll add a touch or two to the exposure and fiddle with the clarity as well. Thanks Jehan!

So I looked at the image on my screening monitor and the exposure looks fine. A tad oversharpened though with jaggies visible on bottom edge of fuselage by tail cone, trailing edge of wings, paint stripes and the titles.
