Its been thrown around, primarily by Fliegerfaust, but its all speculation. As far as I know nothing is official and to be honest they don't really need that right now. There aren't many Customers in the Americas that have ordered the A350.
And if Fliegerfaust is the main source what probably happened is someone said to him “wouldn’t it be cool if Airbus built A350s in Mobile?” which in Fliegerfaust’s world is as good as official confirmation.
I don’t see it, especially with Airbus opening up A350 completion center in China.

Usually it is a common flight with Airbus and Customer Staff on board. As it takes place before delivery, airbus is responsible for these flights.
