On wikipedia it shows the max range as 4300nm but I think that's with max payload weight. I don't need an exact number but just want to know how far should be able to fly in my sim.
Thanks

Probably the same as the -8I.

A loaded -8I or an empty one. Do keep in mind that the -8F doesn't have the stabilizer tank, so it won't be able to fly as far as the -8I if both are empty. And if the -8I is loaded, it could really go either way.

What is "special high density fuel" ?
Genuinely curious.
mmo wrote:Just a quick thumbnail calculation would be about 16 hours of flight time. So depending on winds that would be the range. The first hour figure 17 tonnes of fuel burn and then an average of 10 tonnes/hour plus reserves. The total fuel capacity of the 8F is about 181.5 tonnes of fuel.
