I seem to remember Norwegian using them quite a bit for charters whenever they need additional planes. Didn't know they were doing their own routes though.

It's a charter airline from Spain, it has some regular routes to touristic places. It operates A330 and Jumbos.

Always thought SFB would’ve been a good airport to use for airlines such as Norwegian, Air Transat, Sunwing, etc. Will be interesting too see how this MAD-SFB flight will go.

Former Pullmantur.
Indeed mainly charter airline from Spain, some scheduled flights to popular leisure destinations.
Also some adhoc charters, last week they operated an evac flight out of Wuhan, China to Brize Norton, full of British returning home due to the outbreak of the Corona virus in China.

As mentioned by 330lover they were formerly know as Pullmantur Air.
They mainly operate cruise charters as they are owned by Royal Caribbean and an investment firm who both also own Pullmantur Cruises.
It's very likely a route for cruise passengers going to/from Port Canaveral (mostly)
Types flown: A319, A320, A32N, A321, A332, A333, A343, AT43, AT75, AT76, B717, B732, B735, B736, B737, B738, B752, B753, CRJ9, DC10, DH4D, DHC3, E135, E145, E175, E190, E195, F100, MD11, MD81, MD82, MD87, RJ1H

How can you not know one of Europe’s remaining 747 operators? Which airlines have you heard of?

Well, it's very famous in Latin America too. Latam and Avianca have used Wamos a lot to lease their aircraft when their 787 were grounded. I think Avianca still uses Wamos sometimes in the CLO-MAD route, because they still have two 787 grounded with RR engine problems. Latam use to operate the BOG-SCL route with Wamos, but I think they don't do it any more.

Actually this route is for holiday packages in Orlando for theme park visitors offering all-inclusive trips with flights and hotels (the Wamos group has selected 7 hotels near these theme parks for these packages), although flight tickets can be purchased independently without the holiday packages.

Wamos has still a fleet of 747, along with 330s, which are very often used as mentioned for ad hoc charters as the recent one that went to Wuhan. Usually you can see them parked in front of Terminal 1 at Barajas airport. Wamos offers holiday packages and flights from Spain to leisure destinations in Cancun, Dominican Republic and Cuba. The 747 are scheduled to leave the Wamos fleet within the next 3-4 years and only the 330s will remain.

Despite that both Wamos Air and Pullmantur Cruises are owned by Royal Caribbean it is actually Iberia who is currently providing most of the charter flights for Pullmantur Cruises, since 2018 Iberia is providing for Pullmantur cruises the charter flights from Madrid (and also Barcelona) to Athens, Helsinki, Rostock, Trieste and Trondheim in Europe and also to Dubai (DWC airport), usually with widebodies.

If you are interested, I am attaching the links in Spanish with the news mentioning the agreement between Pullmantur Cruises and Iberia.

Wamos operated the ‘rescue’ flight from Wuhan for UK nationals with a 747 last week. Can’t remember the registration but I believe it was ex-Malaysian and was about 29.

Quite a bit from TUI, but most of the UK stuff will move to MLB in 2022. I haven't seen if the flight from AMS will stay or go.

Surinam Airways also flies to SFB.

In the past SFB use to have more European passengers (mostly British) than American passengers, although that changed when Allegiant started their base there. The airport looked more like a smaller U.K. airport than a US one:
