The voice @ 200 airports

Sat Aug 01, 2020 2:26 pm

I know, this is almost 10 years old. Is she still the voice?

What airports?

Thank you for posting. This lady is pure gold. And, you can hear just a hint of Maine accent in her announcements. Never noticed.

That was great.
But...
The Red zone is for loading and unloading only.
Winter is coming.

"Smoking is prohibited at Indianapolis International Airport, and is not allowed outside the airport along sidewalks, streets, or parking areas. Please help us maintain a healthy environment for our passengers, personnel, and visitors by not smoking." I've heard her at LAS as well.

No, the white zone is for loading. Now, there is no stopping in a RED zone.

When I started hearing her (at multiple airports), I really thought it was Connie Chung, and that she landed that gig after losing her anchor job on CBS. How the mighty had fallen! But then I found out is was the lady from Maine.
"Welcome to Rogue Valley International Airport", also known as Medford, Oregon. She's everywhere!
Worked for WestAir, Apollo Airways, Desert Pacific, Western, AirCal and American Airlines (Retired). Flight Memory: 181 airports, 92 airlines, 78 a/c types, 403 routes, 58 countries (by air), 6 continents. 1,119,414 passenger miles.

She is at PVG, too. Always nice to hear her familiar voice there. As an aside, there is a glitch in the announcements at PVG where this lady's voice will be interrupted by an American male voice who says "Mr. Smith please pick up your dog at gate 32" or something close to that. Really surprised me the first time (and it made no sense as there is no such gate) but then I realized it happens a couple times per hour, even made a recording of it somewhere.

The red zone has always been for loading and unloading. There's never stopping in a white zone.
