Number Of TWA Planes Still Dressed In TWA Titles?

Thu Jul 11, 2002 1:20 pm

I hear all of the MD80's are painted about the rest of the fleet? I saw a 767-300 of the old white/red TWA logo depart LAX this evening...many left?

All 757's & MD-80's are in full AA colors.

Just the 9 767-300's remain wearing TWA and will until they are pulled from service in Spring 2003. 8 are in the new TWA livery, 1 is the old red & white livery.

I visited STL 2 weeks ago and saw no MD-80s or 757s in the old colours. I did see 2 767-300s in the new TWA scheme and the only one left in the old scheme.
