FlagshipAZ:
Yes, 3 x A318 - or will be when N803FR is delivered. 2 more on order in the present batch, and then 2 more by March '05.
A319: 20 in service, with 3 more at Hamburg prepping for delivery.
As to the 737's, it's a bit complicated. The A318s are replacing the 732's. I think there's one 732 still in service.
The original plan was for the A319's to replace the 733's one by one - there are 15 or 16 still in service. But that plan has changed a tad.
F9 is discussing the possibility of extending the leases on "some" of the 733's, because they need the capacity for short term growth.
At the same time,
F9 has ordered another A319 from GECAS and another 15 from Airbus, which will begin coming in during '04.
They also intend to lease an extra 14 A318 or A319.
There is also a provision in the new Airbus contract that Frontier must least 3 x A319 or A320 from a 3rd party lessor.
I've tried adding it all up, but my brain fries. The master plan says 68 aircraft by 2008.
cheers
