With all the steel and concrete, it's clearly minimalism, which is apparently in. It's
OK. I too thought it looked somewhat cold, not that inviting, but some areas, like the stylish roofing, looked appealing. However, upon departure from
BKK the view of the entire terminal area was very impressive.
One thing I did not like was the lack of seating in the landside departure area.

SIN on the 22nd.
There was an article in the Bangkok Post a week or so ago about how flights with discount airlines might be moved back to the old airport. There was also a thread on A.net about it. Who knows what will happen?
