Intersky made a new record for the ATR72-600 with a 2682km flight from Belfast to Tirana as a charter for an albanian football team. Flight took 5h23min. The old record was already held by Intersky when in November 2013 Intersky flew from Friedrichshafen to Krasnodar (for a football team too).

One can feel sorry for the football team.
Another one of those was a Eurolot (K2) ATR42-500 charter from GDN to MLA, just 2081 km as the crow flies. This one was for a fisherman team getting to the boat.

Just over 1,448 nautical miles, or just under 1,666 miles, for those of us that may be not as used to the metric system

For regular scheduled flights Air Tahiti (VT) has NHV-PPT (1,405 kms) of 3 hrs 15, and GMR-PPT (1,654 kms) 3 hrs 40. Different time zones for these Islands. PPT -10, NHV -9.30, GMR -9. Don't know if there is refuelling at NHV and GMR.
Today tracked ATR72-600 F-ORVS VT830 NHV-PPT on flightradar24.com. There are two receivers on Tahiti (F-NTAA1 and F-NTAA2) and one on Ua Pou in the Marquesas (F-NTMP1) near NHV, but it has a short range and only picked up about 55 kms of the flight. VT's ATR72-400's (F-ORVB and F-ORVC) and ATR42-600's (F-ORVS and F-ORVN) have ADS-B. F-ORVN is still at Toulouse.

That's really cool, but I'm sure the aircraft didn't carry 70 pax on this long flight?
The ATR72 and Q400 are quite capable aircraft, but rarely get to strut their stuff, so fun to read stories like this.

RAM use them to Gran Canaria and Tenerife, long block times and interesting to the flight time

BQB from Uruguay used to fly an ATR-72 from MVD-GIG until 2 years ago, at that time was the longest regular ATR flight in the world.

Even though this is impressive (or madness, depending on how you look at it), there have been other ATR flights within Europe that had pushed the limits of what people though possible with them. One of the longer ones was SJJ-CPH (a scheduled service no less), operated by JA with the ATR-72-200, which usually took around 3h 15min

The ATR has excellent range. I've been on ferry flights that covered over 2000nm with a block time of over 8 hours, and still landed with more than the required reserves.
Unlikely, I'd expect it to be limited to a maximum of around 50 passengers.

IVC-AKL would be 2 hrs 45 min, but I don't think it's going to happen.

Air NZ only used the F27-500's ZK-NAN and ZK-NAO for AKL-NLK. They didn't get any F50's.
The shortest scheduled ATR72-600 flight would probably be the VT PPT-MOZ of 10 mins.
