Not sure if this topic has been discussed, but I though it would be neat to know the different airlines, aircraft, and routes involved in everyone's first commercial flight.
Mine was in August, 1977...
Eastern Airlines 727-200 (Wish I had recorded the SN!!)
FMY-ATL
Then, connected with a L-1011 (Again, wish I would have recorded the SN!)
ATL-BUF
That particular L-1011 routing was SJU-MIA-ATL-BUF-YYZ if I'm not mistaken.

I think it was BA flights from Warsaw to London and then to New York City in 1975. Don't know aircraft and can't ask my parents. I wander what BA had for their LHR-WAW flights these days. Anyone knows?

We were scheduled to fly Dhahran, Saudi Arabia (now an AFB replaced by the new Dammam Int'l) to Beirut, Lebanon. However, the civil war in Lebanon was still going on and there was fierce fighting in Beirut at the time that we were going to land, so we were diverted to Larnaca, Cyprus.

then SLC-LAS on a 767-200
return flight was LAS-SLC on a 757-200
then SLC-GTF-HLN on probably the same type of plane as HLN-SLC. Anyone know how I might check that?

"Back then" I didn't even know that airliners had registrations/tail numbers displayed on the fuselage or tail, much less think to log the aircraft on which I flew! I was knowledgeable enough to recognize the difference between a 727-100 and -200, and I was aware that UA had recently introduced a somewhat revised version of the livery carried by the aircraft that operated my first airline flight ever.

striked it lucky, an australian family flew in & adopted me.
i was petrified of flying b4 i got onboard - wanted to be a pilot by the time we landed in melbourne! doing my PPL as I speak!
mum now tells me that she lost me for an hr & the F/A found me asleep in the jump seat! i remember visiting the flt deck in those "good ol days" but cant say i remember the falling asleep part.
i still remember the night departure from kai tak's rwy13.
