Photo Acceptance - Rejection Help (DreamsUnited)

Sun Apr 19, 2009 3:08 am

Hi all!

So this is my first photo I've ever sent to A.net and naturally it got rejected. So I'm wondering if anyone could tell me what may be wrong and how how I could fix it. I am in no way a professional photographer and am quite new to the subject, just a picture that I wanted to share. Big grin

https://www.airliners.net/procphotos/...18_m1239480742.2192b-24engines.jpg

Here are the reasons:
Some of the info you submitted together with these photo(s) was either missing, incorrect, irrelevant or in the wrong format.
There is a problem with the contrasts in these photo(s).
There is too much grain or digital noise in these photo(s).

any ideas?

Thank you so much
-Josh

Hey Josh,

Use the auto fill function. It will fill in all the info about the plane properly. There are 90 photos of it already in the database, so there are no excuses.
Contrast can be fixed no problem and I'm pretty sure if you downsize it to 1024 pixels wide the noise will be minimal.
Make sure you check the "window view" as well.

Quoting DreamsUnited (Thread starter):
There is too much grain or digital noise in these photo(s).

You can reduce noice by using noise reduction software either in your editing software or something like Neat Image. But use it sparingly.
