Afternoon clouds moved in and the airport shut down after 22 arrivals from Kathmandu that day. Military exercises on the runway at Lukla (9200 Feet) started and continued throughout the night.

It could only happen in Nepal! Using the only piece of tarmac for miles for military excercises! Great photo!
