One of the most scaryest airfields of the world, if not THE scaryest. I tried to land there with a piper and after 5 crashes I finally made it. All that of course, while playing FS2004. ;-)

It really is too bad that the Courchevel runway in FS2004 is just normal...not sloped. :(

The aircrafts land up hill and take off the down hill. Landing on the snow and slope is a great experience. As soon as you're on the ground you put full power again to keep going up to the flat parking area. My first altitude landing experience was there....

This photo is absolutely amazing wuth the mountains int the background. i love the sight of a little airfield in the middle of these big mountains covered in snow.

It is so different from english landscapes our flying clubs are not quite so remote.

Nice place. And look at that sweet little blue helicopter near the house. Not to forget the other helicopter and the plane. All in all a nice pic.

Great Picture. It's a marvelous, little Airport, and a big experience to start and land on it. (Also in MS-Flightsimulator 2004 - for it is an Airport-scenery-file on avsim.com available.)

You could try X-Plane 9 which actually supports sloped rwys, too bad I don´t have the Europe Scenery
