Aviation Photo #1965395 Sud SE-210 Caravelle VI-N - Aero Beach Craft

The presence of a UN support base in Entebbe has boosted the local economy. The location where this Caravelle and 707 (G-APFL) found their last resting-place has been developed into a little fun-fair called 'Aero Beach' with a bar and buffet. There were no signs of the former registration 9Q-CRU of the 'Aero Beach Craft', but on top of both wings the Alitalia-titles were still visible as well as regi I-DABA on top of the starboard wing.

Nice capture. Love the jumbo in between the two old ladies. Jumbo still takes the cake, even if it's made of cement. :-)

Excellent! I complimented your pic of the 707, thanks for raising the profile of that wonderful Caravelle! And you took the pic on my 54th birthday as well, so I'm doubly happy!!!!!

After hearing about the scrapping of two formerly perserved Caravelles in the US, it is nice to see one preserved, even if it's not in great condition. I love the details of the other fixtures of the park. May the children enjoy these treasures for years to come.
