Somehow the excellent detail combined with the viewing angle and the elegant. powerful design of the plane mesh together to generate an image of dynamism, as if the plane was an organic entity unto itself and not simply a hunk of metal and plastic and paint under the control of human beings.

The colours are in perfect balance - I'm truly impressed. It gives an awesome sense of scale and majesty. Only a Tupolev can look this good.

This is a beautiful composition of a rarely seen jet (at least at my US airport).

It is so sad, that because of the fall of the Soviet Union this beutifull machine have not undergone modernization, that has been planed for the begging of the 90's.
