Caption
This photo was presented by Aviation Safety Inspection of Khabarovsk Airport. The Tu-154 came in well above the glide-path on finals to Chita-Kadala and was 'forced down' by the pilot, touching down 240 m before the runway threshold. The tail broke off and the gear struts collapsed as a result.

The "Incidents and Accidents" section of the Tu-154 article on Wikipedia records this as a "rough landing", an understatement if I've ever read one. Thank you for sharing.
