Captain's view of the Electronic Flight Bag which is displaying the taxiing chart of Roissy Charles de Gaulle airport, where we would land one hour later as Air France 033, back from IAH.The aircraft is a 200 ER series and was not originally delivered with this feature, but Air France is currently retrofitting its fleet, and aims to get paper-free flightdecks on the triple seven fleet at the term of the program !To my friend Olivier Le Saint.

The runways have the same co-ordinates (or whatever you call them!) to Heathrow!!

They are called runway headings =). Yeah great shot, wish the EFB was usable in the POSKY 777 in FSX...ah well, great addition Boeing.

What's the use of such flashy avionics if they can't be used as primary navigation reference? Wasn't the point of such stuff to make the cockpit paperless??

Well, using your eyes as a primary navigation reference wouldn't sound silly to me !
