Huuuuuuge engines! I love them (Especially B777, A340, A380). Nice shot with great details.

An excellent perspective of the distinctive design of the fan blades i'm guessing they are ge90 engines or mabye trent 800's one other matter did't airbus eliminate the nacelle strakes on the a340 and if so how come the leading lift devices on the a380 did not incorporate the same features

Let me be the first to tell you there is no British work on this engine. This is pure USA. It's an alliance formed by GE and P&W. The fan blades are quite similar to the Ge90. With the low combustion chamber pulled from the Ge90 and the 4 high pressure compressors from the P&W4000 family of engines. Hence Engine Alliance.
