Next to the Empire State and Statue of Liberty, the following more famous sight at NY are the long take-off queues at KJFK. We are lined at RWY 31L after waiting for more than 15 minutes for our take-off slot to SEA. Next in the line are: A332 AF (not framed), A346 LH, 772 KL, A320 JB, B744F CV and 752 UA being the last in line.

Excellent shot! Actully 15 minutes is not bad, I have spent over an hour in that line. The only thing fun about that is that you are at JFK.

By any chance do you know the time the photo was taken! I was here on this day and was on VS4 an A340-600! Did you see it by any chance?

I spent an hour in a NWA 757 at Newark last year spring because of a problem with the navigational systems, after which we also had a short wait on the taxiway of maybe 8 mins, which would have been like 4 planes. BUT: it was totally worth it, because firstly it was Newark, of course, and secondly because one of those 4 planes was a classic Kalitta 747 which I saw starting to thunder down the runway from only meters (what, 40 or so) away.
