First U.S. carrier, Air Canada has operated the 77W since 2007.

You've caught its best side IMO, but still a horrible livery. Tragic

And there I was thinking Air Canada has been operating the 77W for years. The paint scheme is extremely tacky looking, but the picture quality great nonetheless. Thanks for sharing!

First in the US maybe but Canada is in North America and we've been flying the 773 for years now...nice catch though!

Very nice! The new c/s looks much better on the B77W. Air Canada has been flying the B77W for quite some time now.

Well, if there's one thing I DO like about this new livery, it's that they opted not to paint the fuselage white! Thank god!

Awesome for a U.S. carrier now operating this aircraft! For those of you complaining about the new livery, have you complained about United and Delta's new livery? If not, take some time before you complain about American's, because all three have reason to show what they want to do for the future!

Love love love the new livery! It was time for a change and I think it's fresh, modern and very AMERICAN!

The livery almost looks like the one from Cubana de Aviacion. Extremely tacky and throws away years of heritage with this failed attempt of modernizing the American brand.

First flight is not referring to the 77W rather the first to Sao Paulo

You know, when the new livery came out, I hated it (still thought it was better than the old one) but now, I kinda like it! The great picture helps too!

To me it's a new airlines and not the old AA, anyway I like it!

I Dont know why so many are complaining on this new livery , in my opinion its much nicer than the white Standart Colours and finally it a new one for AA which nobody wanted to see anymore...and it looks sharp on an T7W

On the 737 this paint scheme looks awfull.......On the bigger bird it starts to be looking better

This tail on an A380 could have a gigantic impression!

Good foto! The livery however is very disappointing. The grey body with that font make it look like a military plane. The tail fin looks out of place.

Basically a copycat livery. What is this obsession with an all white fuselage, and a little bit of paint splashed on the tail? This seems to be the norm worldwide. Bring back the cheatlines, all the airlines pre deregulation, service from the past, and the term stewardess.

Nice pic, but the livery his possibly the most hideous conglomeration of yuck I've ever seen. I predict it won't last out the year. I surely hope AMR didn't spend very much money on this mess.

This is a great point of view for fotographing a majestic airplane. It gives the viewer a good idea of the size length of the plane. Too bad it has to include that disasterous tail design.

I can't believe it! American Airlines livery used to be so nice, so classic. This is pretty bland, and uninspired. Well, American has fallen down a level.

Great picture of the first AA 777-300 in operation! Since everyone is talking about the livery, I must say that it's a bit of a mixed bag for me. The tail design is inspiring, I am not sure that I am a big fan of the plain grey and the new lettering (and no eagle logo!!). I would have preferred the old style lettering with eagle logo on white!

Must say I'm starting to like the new livery!
