The picture of the MD-"Retiree" is even more interesting when you look at the F100 in the background. N1419D was DBER May 23, 2001 while landing in DFW after a completing a flight from CLT. PROBABLE CAUSE: "A forging fold that was introduced during the manufacture of the right main landing, which resulted in a fatigue crack in the right main landing gear cylinder, and its subsequent failure during landing."
