The Antonov 225 was to fly from Riga to East Midlands today and I was tracking it for fun on the internet while at work. At some point I started wondering if it would come overhead on the way to the UK. I put a ruler to the screen and much to my amazement it was heading right towards me! The tower later on confirmed this with the words "it's got a huge contrail", after which I went outside. The 'Mriya' flew past, 2 miles South of the airport and this has to be the catch of the day/week/month(/year?)!
