Fitted with a 450 HP Pratt & Whitney R-985-AN 1 radial engine, the Broussard first flew in November 1952. A total 363 examples were built in military version (reconnaissance, liaison and medevac) and civil version (crop duster). This MH-1521 is one of 10 purchased by the Argentine Agriculture Ministry in 1958 where it was registered as LQ-FZL. In 1972 it was transferred to the Civil Aviation National Institute (INAC), and in 1975 it went to the FAA. Wfu. in 1990. A/c preserved at National Museum of Aeronautics.
