You can imagine yourself at one of the windows and seeing all about you as the plane failed to climb. it makes the whole event seem that its right there in front of you. but why wasnt the plane deiced.

My uncle was on this plane when it crashed in 1985. He was a member of the 101st Airborne Division and was returning to Ft. Campbell. I suppose I would rate any picture of the plane before the crash as excellent, but this one shows the plane in detail on the runway, I suppose that is why I rated it "5 stars".

My good friend and neighbor was on this flight,,, just seeing the plane right before take off really hits home god bless you mark........

I was a flight attendant at Capitol International Airways and flew many times on this particular DC-8. This was our ship N920CL and we flew it mainly on the JFK-ZRH service.
