In-Flight 'Window View' (showing front of two Port-side Pratt & Whitney JT3D-3B engines) from RAAF 33 Flight Boeing 707-338C A20-624 Cn 19624, over Bagan Ajam (with Penang Island visible at rear) at end of an 8 hour flight to Butterworth WMKB Malaysia in Mar 1982. I was returning from ‘mid-tour leave in Australia’ during a two year posting to 478 Squadron. A20-624 (formerly Qantas VH-EAD) was the last B707 in RAAF Service, having retired on 30Jun2008, with '29 Years Service to the Nation'.
