When the departure for this bird was listed as 10 minutes early, you just know that that won't happen. Indeed, BG85 pushed back from C17 49 minutes late, and much to my delight, facing the VM. Here she is taxiing to 20C in the heavy rain, amidst much shutter clicks from the crowd that thronged the VM!

The thing I love most about this photo, I see a classic looking DC-10, with a livery that looks like it is from the 80s or 90s, and see a lot of modern aircraft and equipment around it. I then suddenly realized the photo was taken in 2012! Beautiful shot on an awesome looking DC-10!

This beauty was 'born' 3-10-1978.
I flew with her to JFK on july 1994.
34 years of flying...
