If my memory is correct this bird was in storage at the Air Forces aircraft storage "bone Yard". It was readied for flight back to Seattle
to be worked on before its final flight to Washington DC. Loved to drive by and see it on display in the bone yard.

Very popular color combination at the time. My 1956 house had yellow tiles surrounded by brown border tiles in the bathroom.
