I think its an airborn testbed for the F-22 program avionics. I think the funny hat is related to the -22 wings also, but I am not sure.

A face only a mother could love!! Still a good lookin airplane IMHO. Takes alot to make a 757 look ugly.

The 757 always looks brilliant in my opinion. Even when it's modified to look like Quasimodo. Great closeup btw.

Nice shot of the modifications. Little is mentioned of the fact that this is the prototype 757 Line number 1. The nose gear lights are of particular interest to me since I built them from scratch - the design followed.
