Wow. this is cool. the seat design and those HUD makes the cockpit looks somewhat futuristic. way to go B787!!

Looks just like a fusion of Garmin G1000 and Boeing airliners.

Fantastic insight! Interesting to see how the overhead panel has barely any buttons left.

Those control columns look like they're in the way! I know, they should have some kind of side stick and then there'd be room for a table as well!?

Well, I'm dissapointed. Flight deck used to be much more complicated and the complexity gave it atmosphere. Now, there's not much left, let alone the circuit breakers.

Looks so plasticky...ops it is the plastic plane :-) But seriously, looks very modern, except for those very old school yokes. Come on Boeing, it's time to dump them old yokes, side sticks are the way to the future.

Who ever said that this is awful must not be a pilot! It looks like Star Trek on that deck!

Looks like a Gulfstream G450/550 panel.

Many of we pilots are perfectly content with the column and prefer it to the sidestick. I think Boeing did a nice job of making a clean flight deck. Hopefully I'll get a chance to fly one before I have to retire in 30 years.

Looks great. But I will miss the thousands of knobs. I always liked it, when the flight-deck looks complex, because so you have to learn flying the plane, not just sit there and watch about the big screens in front of you. And I

Looks like a giant Playstation 3 gaming station! During the boring cruise get some GTA IV goin on those screens. I agree, pilots are being turned into IT professionals. This plane even has trackpads. I admire this technology but I feel its disconnecting the aviator from being "close" to the machine. I agree with when somone used the word "atmosphere". But still its a great new plane.

I greatly prefer a control yoke to a side stick, I don't know why but I feel more in control with the yoke. So personally I hope Boeing never drops the yoke. Thank God my airline mainly flies Boeing.

Awesome layout! Still, I must say,,,ive flown airbus and currently EMB 190 captain, and side stick is defientely the way to go! Now please, do not compare any jet airliners technolgy, or LCD displays if you must, to a Garmin 1000! As cool as a garmin 1000 might be,,,its still little league class! Please,,,,this is sooo much better, and complete than a garmin display!
Like i first said....awesome layout! go BOEING!

Great. Still Boeing have room to improve. In my view Boeing should think of making the Front window as HUD / Combination of PFD & ND !!!
