Nice view. I suppose the Dreamliners had to make room in the hangar for the Beech 18 and Yak-42 which are temporarily parked outside.

What are the yellow boxes on each plane?

The yellow boxes provide the weight that the engines will when fitted, to keep the aircraft balanced.

The yellow "boxes" provide similar weight to what the engines would be, if they were hanging there... thus helping to keep the plane balanced while it's in this state of storage.

Quite a stunning composition!

These are the early production models of the 787 that were built in 2009 and 2010, when Boeing was facing supply chain issues. They're the 10th to 19th and 22nd 787s built and have design shortcomings that make them less efficient with less carrying capacity as compared to the newer versions.

As suggested on a previous movement, I did scroll up and down, and they do seem to move! :D
