India is BA's second-largest market after the US. At about this time in the morning, SpeedBirds across Delhi, Bangalore, Chennai & Hyderabad depart back to Heathrow. BA's first 777-300ER, G-STBA, flew Heathrow - Mumbai as SpeedBird 139 on August 31, 2010 for its first revenue flight. Have been dying to shoot it since, this wait ended 100 days later when it was delayed due to harsh winter weather in Europe...

You guys sure that two engines are enough for body that size?, it can also use an extra landing gear support in the rear middle

She was good as gold: exceedingly nice to fly her to BOM on Sep 11, '10. Feather-touch rollout and decelerated effortlessly as we swept past the Airworks Kalina hangar. (Excellent deck crew; and cabin folks too who gushed endlessly about her to all us paxs.) Came in slightly early, waited for AF to leave gate, and were for a good 10 mins. near 32-14, txwy., and AC complex, Andheri. Could see fireworks on outside for chubby Ganpati's arrival in the early hrs. of that Saturday dawn. But no flares, mercifully, on 27 short finals.

There goes the aircraft, preparing to takeoff into that boundless void of outer space and fly all the way across the planet to touchdown as soft as a feather on the landing strip at Heathrow Airport...What a splendid sight indeed!

Vishal, splendid capture indeed. Keep up the great work, I especially enjoy the captions, they seem to tell a story of their own. Thank you for sharing your gems and keep up the fantastic work.
