Out behind CP Air's hangar just days after delivery. The "Empress of Fiji" would be leased to United Airlines in April 1983 for 4 years, where it was converted it to an ER for flights to Tokyo. After returning to Canadian Airlines, it flew until 2001 when, after a merger, the DC-10s became the first type to be retired by Air Canada. It was slowly broken up in Marana, AZ.

True, really miss the aircraft and liveries of this era. Seeing CP DC10s and 747s was always a highlight.
