The Flagship of the Cathay Pacific fleet at Kai Tak in 1981. Cathay's First Boeing 747, VR-HKG at Hong Kong Airport, Code HKG. Both cargo doors are open in this view. (This aircraft was scrapped in 1998.) Two Cathay TriStars are at rear-left while a Malaysian Airline System (MAS) Airbus A300 is about to land on Rwy 13 at right. Rare 1981 photo.
