Some serious aviation history on display at the Pima Air & Space Museum. B-HNL is the first Boeing 777 built and served as Boeing's testbed until 2000 when it was delivered to Cathay Pacific. In 2018, the aircraft was retired and thankfully Pima had the foresight to preserve the aircraft. Next to B-HNL is N747GE, a Boeing 747-100 which was built back in 1970 for Pan Am as "Clipper Ocean Spray." In 1992, General Electric acquired the aircraft and used it as an engine testbed until 2018. When it was retired, it was the oldest 747 still flying. Hopefully there are plans to acquire more civilian airliners in their collection!

I think it is funny to see a plane in a Museum that I remember the specific flights I took on it.
