Very dramatic shot! Is it just me or have the middle and inboard slats on both wings failed to deploy?

To the visitor from the UK, the middle and inboard slats retract automatically when the reversers are engaged

Awesome picture. The slats didn't fail to deploy but were automaticaly retracted as soon as the pilot activated reverse thrust.

Absolutely beautiful!! You must be one hard core photographer to be out in that weather!
