[Canon 5D Mark III + Canon EF 16-35mm f/2.8 L II USM] My 2,500th photo on Airliners.net. No, this isn't a crash scene, however how this Dornier 328 that once flew passengers in Europe ended up in the woods of New Jersey is still a bit of a mystery.

This plane was ferried to somewhere on the East Coast of the US on April 12, 2012, shortly after Cirrus Airlines ceased operations. This is located on a campground near Elmer, NJ in Salem County. The consensus, from what I read, is that this may have been put in place to become part of a paintball facility that never came to fruition. Being that I live in NJ, I may have to go and see this.

It looks like what was used in the plane crash episode of Grey's Anatomy.

A derelict flight deck at a campground! Parted out to Winnebago, perhaps?
