This is the largest, heaviest and most powerful rear-mount engine in use. It has been mentioned that the engine pylon trailing edges have aerodynamic control surfaces to aid in pitch control? This, I absolutely can NOT imagine why because it would significantly complicate the design (if those control surfaces are moveable).
At any rate, this is for sure a very interesting installation.
Lastly, this engine is also used on Airbus A320 series aircraft (among others?).
