Good picture but i am desappointed by Eva Air new colors. Flat, tasteless. How could they choose such a flat theme?

Compared to United, this scheme is not as bad. its a matter of acquired taste over time..

I am very disappointed to see Eva Air's new livery because it's really "Ugly" and it is similar to Uni Air's livery. I guess it's because Uni Air and Eva Air are sort of the same airline.

Imho not too bad, but still worse than their current c/s. Agreed colour combo not great, also clearly they are riding the wave-trend. Still disappointed KLM went for that too. 787 is such a lame reason, I have seen artist impressions of it with good old straight cheatline and it looked great. Heck look at Royal Jordanian 787's. Sorry I'm drifting off topic lol.

I am the one from the post#2 (good picture but...).
So, as an aviation enthusiast (private pilot & aerobatics) and also as professional web designer, this is my personnal opinion:
As we can see for the moment, the trend for plane paint scheme is oriented around curvy lines (ex:klm).
For me, there is 2 problems with the new eva air colors/design scheme:
Even if globally they didn't changed the scheme a lot, it changes a lot because of this:
1) The new dark green doesn't match well with the previous one (still there on the tail).
2) The proportion between the dar green and the white is too big. I want to mean that there is too much white and this render the global impression so flat.
For me, it's still a personal opinion, keep the initial green, to curve it and increase the proportion would have been enough (according to keep/respect and stay with the original design.

5* picture, 1* c/s. Generic and boring, I would have imagined companies like EVA Air would come up with someone new and exciting. Afterall they are much younger than China Airlines. Also, am I the only 1 seeing this is just another company of DL scheme? You only have to flip the dark green to dark blue and you'll have a DL scheme.

Another curvy tasteless garbage from "trendy" designers. Almost a copy of Nippon Cargo, and a million other similar ones

Eva Air trashed its perfectly good livery for this?? Not a fan of the wavy trend, it's not elegant and makes aircraft look distorted
