Most of what's there are MD-80s and 757s. The main victims of this economic downturn I'm afraid. Hopefully most will return to serivce. Most of the stuff on this page could return to service, especally the 757s.

It's sad to see newer aircraft like those ATA 757-300's or Midwest 717 in danger of heading to the scrap heap

Great capture. Sad to see some of those planes are practically brand new. Shows the true financial state of the industry, and lack of management.

Look at all the 757s...I know the ATA 753s are going to CO but I would think that those 752 would be desired somewhere, especially the one with winglets!

Blimey! At first glance I also had the impression I was looking at an assortment of the latest Dragon and GeminiJets releases. Top notch image, albeit rather sad...

The photo itself is technically superb, but its very depressing when I think of the causes of what's happening here (and around the world).

Red tail 757 is ex-girjet aircraft reg. EC-JTN or maybe it is ex-girjet TF-LLZ and then ex-gadair TF-LLY, both spanish 757 operator that declare bankrutpcy due to global crisis. I was FO in Girjet and I flow this beautiful and magnific machine.

Waiting to fly again the brilliant B757.

Beautiful scene. What's even more beautilful is they all look brand new. Not to discuss with the Girjet F/O but I guess it's not quite accurate saying it closed due to crisis.
