The female pilot of this plane did a great job avoiding buildings and cars when her plane iced-up. Sadly, she perished. I was caught in traffic for more than an hour when this happened. Apparently, the plane was carrying a package containing non-lethal viruses from the Virology Lab in Winnipeg.

I starred at this picture for quite a lot, feeling very sad, for the pilot for those terrifying moments before hitting the ground! Btw it is a great as it captures this dramatic moment!

Is that snow on the ground? Too early for winter!

How sad...

Very sad sight... I guess the white thing was brushed there by the fire extinguishers maybe.

Photo shows snow on the ground, which leads me to believe that perhaps the accident was caused by icing. With the arrival of winter it is necessary to think of the hazards associated with freezing or near freezing temperatures coupled with high humidity.

My thoughts and prayers go out to the victims and their families...a very sad sight to see indeed.
