Upper deck panel. All systems go! Departure flight 444 to Yellowknife, NWT, carrying on to Iqualuit. What is meant by "Runway Turnoff L/R"? Very well detailed. ***1500th photo contribution***

Very detailed shot, looking closely you can get an idea of what's going on. I think that the runway turnoff lights are the ones that illuminate somewhat sideways for exiting the runway. But no such thing as choosing the runway brightness from the flightdeck :)

Runway "Turn OFF" L/R control two sets of lights. If you select the "L" switch and move it to the on position the left landing light shines brighter and the right landing light dims. By selecting the runway turn off lights it helps eluminate the turn off taxiway and lets other planes know you are turning left!

If you select the "L" turn off light the landing light that are connected to the wing pylon tilt outward in the direction of the landing light(in this case left because i'm talking about the "l"light)by 30 degrres it helps illuminate the turnoff taxiway and informs other planes that you are turning left! Looks like a flight simulator panel... No 3D perspective.. but the image is PERFECT for study! 5 stars!
