It may not be a 757, but it still is a "flying pencil"! Nowadays seen around Europe mostly in the freighter role, the Merlin and Metro families have interesting roots, having originated from a mid-60s business turboprop based around components of Beechcraft's Queen Air and Twin Bonanza piston twins. Stretched to accomodate 19 passengers, they can still be found all over the world - including in military service - though their numbers are fast declining.
