The He 111 was a German bomber aircraft designed by Siegfried and Walter Günter at Heinkel Flugzeugwerke in 1934. This mock-up was created for filming in a film about the escape of a group of ten Soviet prisoners of war, led by fighter pilot Mikhail Devyatayev, on a captured He 111 H-22 (Re-designated and modified H-6, H-16, and H-21's used to air launch V1) bomber on February 8, 1945 from a German concentration camp at the Peenemünde Army Research Center (which tested the V-1 and V-2 missiles).
